Hull Recreation

The City of Hull provides many leisure opportunities, great kids’ programs, and new facilities for community enjoyment. Leisure time in Hull can be spent in a variety of ways! Hull features a beautiful golf course, a wellness center, community center, walking trails, three parks, a swimming pool, an interactive library, and several restaurants.

During the spring and summer months, children can enjoy the many activities offered by our recreation department. Some of these activities include: soccer, blastball, t-ball, flag football, baseball, softball, swimming lessons, Summer Reading Program at the Library and more exciting programs.

All Recreation information/forms (soccer, volleyball league, basketball league, pickleball and all other activities) are located on our Documents Page located under “City Rec/Sports”.

The City of Hull offers a yearly “gym pass” for the Community Building Gym when it is not rented out. The rates are $50/yr for a single membership and $100/yr for a family membership. Stop in the city office to purchase a keycard for a membership. Keycard members can check the Google Calendar to check when the gym is rented.


City Parks

Three Parks, Hundreds of Uses.

Hull has 3 vibrant parks scattered throughout the town. Each park has unique traits and multiple recreational opportunities. Westside park features an aquatic center, disc golfing and Kid’s Kingdom play area. Hubbling park, named in honor of Mrs. William Hubbling, who initiated and fundraised for the park, is centrally located, on Main Street adjacent to the library. This park has a beautiful Veteran’s Memorial area a gazebo area for picnics and sand volleyball courts. Eastside park is the newest park, and has newly designed ball fields, tennis courts, and basketball hoops. It is scheduled for a new concession area as well as restrooms.

Westside Park

Kingdom Playground

This park features an aquatic center, disc golfing and Kid’s Kingdom play area.

  • Location: Main entrance at the corner of Birch and Center Street.

  • Disc Golf

Disc Golf, also known as Frisbee Golf, is a newly popular sport for those who love to spend time outdoors. In 2014 Hull put up a 9 hole course in Westside Park. This is a free activity to anyone who has a Frisbee, and is popular among the kids in town.

Hubbling Park

Centrally located, on Main Street adjacent to the library. This park has a beautiful Veteran’s Memorial area a gazebo area for picnics and sand volleyball courts.

Eastside park

Eastside Playground

The newest park, and has newly designed ball fields, tennis courts, and basketball hoops. It is scheduled for a new concession area.

  • Main entrance at the corner of Chestnut and 3rd Street. Also accessible from Willow Street.

Swimming Pool

Hull Aquatic Center – A Gem among the community

Hull’s previous pool was built in 1967, and completely demolished in 2011 to build a new pool. Summer of 2012 the new Aquatic Center was opened. Since then, the pool has been a favorite spot among locals and out of town guests. Conveniently located inside Westside Park, there is plenty of parking, as well as picnic areas and recreational activities to keep you busy and active all day. From young to old, the Aquatic Center provides daily entertainment to all its guests. On occasion you will note late night swims, or other out-of-ordinary activities, and even private party rentals for your enjoyment.

  • Daily Admission 2 years & younger is free with a paid adult

PLEASE NOTE FOR LIABILITY REASONS ANY CHILD UNDER THE AGE OF 7 NEEDS TO BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT OR BABYSITTER 12 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER!!!

No matter the season, Hull Citizens Stay Active.

Whether it’s a school sports activity, or others organizing tournaments, Hull continues to have sporting events all year round. With an array of gyms and fields in town, Hull is equipped to keep up with any tournament needs. The map below marks where each field and gym are located for your convenience.
